The other tailors itself to what will please and activate an audience.
The two cannot co-exist. You can’t lead and follow at the same time.
Personal branding masks as leadership to cover up a careful agenda to benefit the top player i.e., the “person”al brand.
Leadership is different.
Leadership with integrity is different.
Leadership asks you to take people to places where they may not even know, because you understand the collective benefit that comes from it.
It asks that you walk first.
It asks that you stand for your vision with or without support because it is about responsibility.
It asks that you put the work before the show because without it there is nothing.
It’s not about engineering a perception of oneself that is easy to commercialise.
It’s about influencing change that benefits all.
